Sugarcane drink with a twist of lime in Phnom Penh, Cambodia - Day 2 Part 2

Sima dropped us at the hotel after the trip to Central Market. Freshened up and headed down to do some walking around the city. Spotted a street vendor selling a kind of salad (similar to Somtham in Thailand) and couldn’t resist the temptation!


Visited the National Museum....





...and then the palace & the silver pagoda.





Later in the evening, we went for a shadow puppet performance by the Sovanna Phum Art Centre. The place was packed with tourists. Understandable as they only hold performances on Fri and Sat. It’s totally different from our local variety. They cleverly combine shadow play in the background and stage performance in the foreground. That gives me ideas on what to do with my Graphic Design students next semester.
